Mozambique Hotel Imagined
Scroll ↓
This conceptual hotel was designed with its rooms forming a modular building in order to overcome the shortage of skills & materials in Mozambique.
Unique areas such as the kitchens, car park, reception, restaurant and conference rooms are contained within a concrete column and slab design, and were clustered into a front main entrance block to address the road noise and public façade. This allowed the rooms to be kept to the quieter rear, overlooking the city, and kept the modular section contained to one unit.
The modular hotel has a hardy outer shell for cost reductions in long term maintenance.
A façade that blends in with the surrounding urban fabric and welcomes the guest.
